About the Game
As the clock strikes closing time, the race is on! Closing Time: Last Call is a fast-paced matching card game where you must be the first player to discard all cards from your hand.
Each card features a drink glass (Suit), a color, and a shape. Play a card that matches any of these three elements with the top card on the discard pile. Use special event cards to give yourself an advantage or slow down your opponents!
When you're down to your last two cards, you must shout "LAST CALL!" before playing or face a penalty. First player to empty their hand wins the round! With 124 cards and multiple special events, every game is different.
How to Play
Goal: Be the first player to discard all cards from your hand!
Quick Start
Deal 7 cards to each player. Flip the top card from the draw pile to start the discard pile. Youngest player starts. On your turn, play a matching card or draw one card from the draw pile.
Matching Rules
Cards can be played if they match the top card of the discard pile in ANY of these ways:
Same Suit (Glass Type)
Match the glass type: Wine Glass, Whiskey Rocks Glass, Cocktail Glass, Neat Glass, or Beer Glass
Same Color
Match the card's color (10 different colors in the game)
Same Shape
Match the lower icon: Circle, Cross, Pentagram, Meeple, House, Square, Sword, Star, Tree, or Triangle
"LAST CALL!" Declaration
When playing your second-to-last card, you must shout "LAST CALL!" before it touches the table or draw 2 penalty cards!
